What's In a Name?

So I wrote that I submitted a story this evening. That's not completely true. I actually submitted three. One was a horror story I've workshopped and for which have been collecting rejections. The other two are erotic romances that I wrote four years ago and have had the rights revert to me. I almost shelved them, then felt that they would do me no good by collecting digital dust in the warrens of my Dropbox.

I've no idea if I'll find a home for them. The horror story is anybody's guess. It's possible that I'll be able to place the erotic romances. If I do, I'm wondering whether or not I should either resurrect my old pen name or keep them under the name by which I write science fiction and fantasy. 

The "exciting" fiction taught me a lot about writing and marketing, and the fact that I wrote erotica has been an open secret in science fiction circles. While having a pen name would separate that work from my primary focus, I don't know whether or not I want to have to put in the time required to resurrect that identity. 

To write under a different name, or under my own...that is the question.
